Junghwan Song and the Ceragem Design Team design for Ceragem a conceptual, new age “ion water purifier” that combines the typical household water purifier with an ionic water generator and generates drinkable ionic water that improves symptoms of gastric disorders by electrolyzing drinking water.

The understated design reflects “Simple Perfection,” the design philosophy of Ceragem, smoothly and elegantly blends with the kitchen environment, showing a modern minimalist style through an exquisite harmony of straight lines and curves.
The project has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

The matt white color symbolizes ionic water and trust in the quality of purified water, while the chrome offsets any hint of monotony.
It is designed to minimize the exposure of screws and parts to reflect the reliability of a medical device.

For the first time in the water purification industry, a full-touch display that can be adjusted by up to 20 degrees is introduced, allowing users to change the angle of the display to suit their eye level, use its convenient UX design, and easily control its various functions, such as ion water, and cold and hot water, using its extensive display.
