Interior Designer Marek Błażucki of B&B Design collaborates with Grupa Bozzetti for the creation of Diag – a simple furniture piece consisting of a wooden desktop supported by steel legs.
The project has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The formation of the top, conceived as an element of a non-stereotypical form, results from functional conditions — elevated rims prevent accidental falling of objects, in addition, the higher rear edge, with cut-outs, is a place that allows you to easily attach optional accessories made of leather, acting as containers for small utensils.
The top is made of structure is made of a veneered blockboard, the edges of the top are made of solid wood, and the steel base is covered with structural laquer.
The desk is also available with a lacquered MDF top or a stainless steel base.
