Vienna, Austria
Designed by Gernot Bohmann, Harald Gründl, and Martin Bergmann, founders of the Austrian design firm EOOS, the Catty Chair is a stackable, ultra-light piece of furniture inspired by the classic lion tamer chair with a modernist twist, made of durable materials.

The Catty Chair project has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Catty consists of only two curving steel tubes, which form a backrest, and a smooth, thin plane of steel or wood veneer to form the seat.

The wood seat option can be color-stained to be an exact match for the steel frame. Catty comes in café, bar stool, or counter stool height, and has the option of arm or armless.
For convenience and increased flexibility of use, Catty units can be stacked six to eight high.
As with all Division Twelve products, Catty is available in the line’s entire offering of its carefully curated powder coat palette, which is available in 20+ colors, including the Pantone® Color of the Year.
