Milano, Italy
“This year’s edition confirmed the international reach of the event and the unity of the design community,” states Maria Porro, President of Salone di Mobile in Milan.
“An important outcome that demonstrates the state of good health and firm values of the Salone del Mobile.”

After three years of absence due to COVID-19, the 60th Salone di Milano closed its doors proving that is always a profitable experience for many of the companies taking part.
Among the exhibition stands and events, one could sense everyone’s enthusiasm in coming together and restarting after the standstill imposed by the pandemic, following the keywords of the event: design, innovation, beauty, and sustainability.
The above keywords of Milan’s Design fair were expressed and interpreted by established designers and architects as well as by new professionals, becoming the guiding thread of the various design initiatives.

See below some testimonials from leading participants of the 2022 Salone.
Roberto Minotti, co-CEO of Minotti states, “We again experienced the positive and vibrant energy of the Salone del Mobile. The overall flow of visitors was smaller, but it gave us the opportunity to meet all our customers coming from around the world, confirming the markedly international make-up of the fair. We’ve always seen the Salone del Mobile as an unmissable event and we invest in it and focus closely on it, in terms of both presentation through really strong architecture and new and important collections.”
“We’ve invested in and worked very hard for this Salone del Mobile, presenting a lot of new collections, developed in these last years of absence, and we’re truly satisfied with the obtained feedback. The main goal was to come back to exhibit our products at the fairground, meet the clients, welcome potential new ones, and finally shake their hands. Even the creative concept of our stands – real and proper architectures designed by Fabio Novembre – was built exactly to highlight the will of the company to welcome guests in an accessible and inclusive place,” claims Fabiana Scavolini, CEO of Scavolini.

Giuliano Mosconi, president of Zanotta commented that “despite the aftermath of the pandemic, the war, and a complicated economic scenario, the Salone came back eager to discover the novelties and the ways companies, designers, and commercial operators are thinking about the future of the home. We certainly felt the urge to bring innovation within a traditional format and this has certainly given new energy to the sector.”

The event confirmed how quality design products have their most important global showcase in the Salone and how far it is able to attract talents, recount creativity, and projects.
Salone di Mobile. Milano 2022 served as an outstanding place for coming together, exchanging, and sharing ideas that produce work and business, in the frame of product design and international collaborations.
