Dundee Hills, Oregon, USA

Nestled in the heart of an 80-acre vineyard in the rolling hills of scenic Oregon, this innovative wine production and entertainment pavilion harmonizes cutting-edge architecture with the poetic beauty of viticulture.
Oregon Winery by Eckenhoff Saunders, won an American Architecture Award 2025 from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.
The pavilion’s undulating roofline creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow across the vineyard and courtyard. Expansive glass facades foster a seamless dialogue between the indoor and outdoor environments, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the breathtaking vistas of the vineyard while enjoying world-class wine.
The tiered landscape surrounding the pavilion features integrated seating areas and pathways, blending function with artistry. A grand staircase leads visitors through rows of grapevines to the heart of the pavilion, where an open-air amphitheater offers a stage for live music, performances, and wine tastings under the stars.

Inside, the pavilion houses a state-of-the-art wine production facility, a tasting room, hospitality venues, and a restaurant. The interior design incorporates the natural materials of wood and stone, complemented by abstract light installations. Every detail, from the material palette to the spatial arrangement, emphasizes sustainability, connectivity, and an intimate connection to the land.
Additionally, the design draws inspiration from the proprietor’s lifelong interest in the laws of physics and, more specifically, quantum mechanics, hence the importance of “wave-like” forms in the rooflines.
These pavilions are more than a destination—they form an experiential journey that celebrates the artistry of winemaking within the stunning landscapes of Oregon’s wine country.
