Miami, Florida, USA

Villa Miami Residence is a boutique high-end project located at 710 NE 29th Street in Miami’s dynamic Edgewater neighborhood.
The site’s unique blend of urban sophistication and waterfront charm provides the ideal setting for a development poised to redefine luxury living and make a lasting mark on Miami’s skyline.
Villa Miami by ODP Architecture and Design received an 2025 International Architecture Honourable Mention from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.
The vision for Villa Miami was to create a residential tower that embodies timeless luxury and exclusivity while addressing the practical challenges of a compact site.
Inspired by the opulence of Italian villas along Lake Como and the South of France, the design aimed to deliver a lifestyle of refined elegance and iconic architecture.

A key challenge was the limited site size, which required innovative solutions to maximize the building’s functionality and aesthetic impact.
By separating the parking structure from the residential tower, the design team was able to optimize the footprint, allowing the tower to extend gracefully to the ground level and establish its commanding presence.
This thoughtful approach not only addressed space constraints but also contributed to the building’s bold and distinctive silhouette.
Drawing inspiration from Edgewater’s interplay of light and water, the design team envisioned a sculpted gem cradled within a copper-glazed exoskeleton, reminiscent of a diamond set in a ring.

The geometric facade, with its reflective edges, minimizes interior columns, providing uninterrupted panoramic views.
This fusion of artistry and engineering celebrates the relationship between Miami’s natural beauty and built environment, culminating in a design that is as timeless as it is contemporary.
Villa Miami is a testament to the seamless integration of sustainability and luxury. The building incorporates energy-efficient lighting systems, Energy Star-qualified appliances, and renewable energy technologies such as solar hot water and pool heating systems.
Coated and perforated aluminum panels on the exterior enhance natural ventilation and energy efficiency, while light-colored finishes reflect sunlight, reducing the need for artificial lighting.

These thoughtful measures demonstrate the project’s commitment to environmental responsibility without compromising its aesthetic integrity, setting a new standard for sustainable design in high-end residential developments.
Villa Miami goes beyond the expected to offer a lifestyle of unmatched convenience and sophistication.
Designed as a self-contained ecosystem, the building anticipates and fulfills residents’ every need. Personalized services, such as remembering coffee orders and tailoring day-to-day experiences, redefine luxury living.
The property’s amenities include a thermal spa, sauna, and pool, alongside thoughtfully designed communal spaces that encourage connection and relaxation. The grounds reflect the surrounding natural environment, drawing inspiration from the sun, wind, soil, and nearby water to create a tranquil yet vibrant atmosphere.
