With Bloom, the new outdoor lighting collection designed by DAAA Haus, Contardi Lighting once again redefines itself with a project that merges aesthetics and functionality, creating a new sensory experience for gardens, terraces, and green spaces.
Inspired by the delicate form of the calla lily, the collection breaks away from purely technical solutions, introducing an elegant design that enhances the environment—even when the light is off—becoming a decorative element in its own right.
“Bloom is a celebration of nature, born from an idea on a winter day in Milan, where the desire to evoke the beauty of spring and transform outdoor spaces into poetic, theatrical settings gave life to this unique project,” says Keith Pillow, Founder and Creative Director of DAAA Haus.
The design of Bloom is a dance of fluid, organic shapes that harmoniously blend into the surrounding nature. Each lamp, conceived to be used in clusters, becomes part of the landscape itself—creating a dynamic and scenic atmosphere both day and night. Its graceful lines echo a blooming flower, and like a calla swaying gently in the breeze, Bloom enhances every space with elegance and poetry.
A key feature of the collection is its translucent silicone diffuser, which softens the light and personalizes the ambiance. The softness of the material closely resembles the texture of flower petals.
The painted aluminum structure is lightweight yet durable, while the core of the collection lies in the silicone, which allows light to pass through gently, creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere. In addition, the IP65 rating ensures the collection is perfectly suited to withstand even the harshest weather conditions.
With Bloom, Contardi Lighting turns light into an emotional element that enriches the space. Nature becomes the true protagonist in a play of light, form, and shadow—inviting contemplation and relaxation.

Contardi Lighting is an Italian lighting company operating in the lighting design sector, known for its wealth of international experience in developing large-scale custom solutions for prestigious projects in the hospitality, haute cuisine and luxury yacht segments. Under the guidance of the Carcano family and the General Manager Massimo Brigandì, the company, since the first product was launched in 2006, has been experiencing a period of constant growth and evolution. This has rapidly led it to achieve an international reputation, consolidated in 2015 by the opening in New York of its American branch, Contardi USA.
Daaa Haus
DAAA Haus is a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio based in Malta, Milan, and Ragusa. Founded in 2009 by Creative Director Keith Pillow, the studio brings together the skills, talents, and passion of over 30 young professionals from diverse backgrounds—including Maltese, Italian, Serbian, Irish, Indian, Polish, and Tunisian origins. It is this rich cultural blend that has helped DAAA Haus stand out on the international stage.
