When Fisher & Paykel decided to relocate their corporate headquarters in the United States, the New Zealand-based appliance manufacture partnered with architects CallisonRTKL to design their new corporate offices.
Fisher & Paykel has a long design heritage founded on a pioneering spirit and a culture of curiosity.
They have built a legacy with a future focus that still stays true to the fundamentals of sustainable design, while believing that technology should always begin with the people who use it.
This has seen the company challenge conventional appliance design in order to create products that deliver genuine Good Design and human need.
So, in developing this concept for new corporate offices, the design needed to reflect their same corporate culture of open innovation, collaboration and curiosity, while uncovering insights and ideas that connect with their firm’s customers and a respect the planet.
CallisonRTKL’s resulting design is a new space that helps increase the firm’s brand awareness and solidifies the company’s presence in the premium appliance segment for North America.
The overall space also conveys the core principles of the Fisher & Paykel brand, including quality, innovation, and attention to detail, while the workspace areas support the company culture of collaboration and the open sharing of new ideas and insights.
