The Mau office chair, created by Vinci Design Studio and manufactured by Foshan Huiyu Furniture, has risen from the need to create a product that adapts to modern teaching methods based on the concept of Active Learning: a learning method linked to mobility, adaptation, and versatile configuration in spaces.
Mau has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Its design is characterized by an enveloping, soft language, defined by curved and three-dimensional lines that draw the shell in overlapping layers of plastic, giving the possibility to play with different color combinations.
The bent tubular base gives a perception of solidity to the whole while also blending with the body thanks to the two rear legs that create a pleasant cantilever effect.
Overall, it is a versatile chair, capable of adapting to different types of environments thanks to both the modern but non-aggressive language of plastic and the design of the under-body, capable of integrating, in addition to the arm equipped with a tablet, different types of legs, including the classic five-star, according to the needs of users.
