Hawthorn introduces the Blake Hold All, a luxurious bag designed for refined travelers, combining innovative leather craftsmanship, technical engineering, and materials experimentation.
The designers’ ambition was to simultaneously recognize Ireland’s contemporary technological skill and ancient connection to the natural world and landscape of the country.
For its luxurious design, the Blake Hold All has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Tactile, pure, and considered with an emphasis on folds, soft materials, knots, and clasps.
Forgoing zips as, by composition, they have a resistant, mechanical, and industrial quality.
Enhancing the luxury of hand-crafted leather bags with contemporary technical materials.
The slim magnetically enhanced carbon fiber frame, wrapped in top-grain calf leather provides strength, flexibility, and design integrity.
Custom gold-plated hardware was designed and engineered in Ireland for BLAKE’s unique design requirements.
Tactile dimpled latches, hinges, and saddles finish the frame, while custom-designed countersunk screws that can only be tensioned from the inside set the components flush.
