Mladá Boleslav, The Czech Republic
Designed by Oliver Stefani with interiors by Peter Olah, the new Octavia RS iV is Škoda’s first sporty plug-in-hybrid drive that increases performance and reduce fuel consumption as well as CO2 emisson.
Featuring black details on the bodywork, the car can immediately be recognised as sporty top-ofthe-range variant of Škoda’s bestseller, now in its fourth generation.
The car is a plug-in hybrid delivering 150 kW (204 PS) and is available in the Ambition and Style
trims.
The design language is defined by sculptural elements, precise lines, and bold surfaces, conveying dynamism and road presence.
The new front apron and the sharply defined, slimmed-down headlights, with LED technology for the low beam, high beam and daytime running lights included as standard, provide visual highlights.
Optional full-LED Matrix headlights with a distinctive light signature are available as an alternative. The tail lights, brake lights and rear fog lights also come with LED technology. The redesigned, low roof rails emphasize the elongated silhouette of the Octavia Combi estate, while the saloon has a coupé-like shape.
The car’s interior design concept is equally new: in a first for a ŠKODA production model, the best-seller’s new generation features a free-standing, central monitor and even more upmarket materials, complemented by a new multi-level instrument panel and a bold centre console.
The redesigned two-spoke steering wheel benefits from a more intuitive button layout and innovative, knurled scroll wheels, for enhanced ergonomics and ease of use.
The car’s CO2 emissions are approximately 30 g/km in the WLTP cycle*, meaning it already complies with the new, stricter EU6d emissions standard for all newly registered vehicles in the EU, which came into force this January 2021.
In Sport mode, which allows drivers to make use of the car’s full power output, the Octavia RS iV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.
Its top speed is 225 km/h. The progressive steering that comes as standard and dynamic tuning of the sports suspension that is typical for the RS range cater to energetic driving styles.
Inside the Octavia RS iV, the predominantly black interior stands out. The three-spoke leather multifunction sports steering wheel bears a vRS logo and features paddles for operating the DSG.
The front sports seats are upholstered in black fabric, whilst the optional Ergo seats come with Alcantara® and leather upholstery as well as seat-depth adjustment.

The seats are adorned by an RS logo and colored decorative stitching in red or silver-grey, which can also be found on the leather steering wheel, on the armrests, and on the Alcantara®-covered dashboard.
Decorative strips in an RS look and pedals with an aluminum design round off the sporty impression.
At Škoda, we offer our customers outstanding value for money. This is reflected in our vehicles’ spaciousness and great everyday usability as well as a consistent design philosophy whose core elements are ‘crystalline’ and ‘surprising’
