With ‘Building Life Projects’, designers find expressive freedom in crafting personalised living spaces where the kitchen area serves as the heart and habitat of relationships.

That’s Life byGherardi Architetti, won a 2025 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design, and Urban Studies.

From material selection to element arrangement, from fluid space design to creating a unique atmosphere, every aspect contributes to an exceptional experience.

The focal points are the profiles – 22 mm and 16 mm – serving as the foundational design elements of the system.

The furniture proposals emerge as genuine expressions of both form and function, transforming the kitchen into a stage for showcasing personality and daily rituals.

As representation of the project, we designed an architecture, featuring four distinct habitats tailored to individual lifestyles, all unified by a shared project ethos.

A proposal for contemporary housing needs, offering innovation, refinement, and meticulous attention to detail.
