Temporex Lifestyle has designed this elegant new chronograph automatic watch inspired by the elegance of Italian sports cars from the 1970s.
The speedometer-like domed dial concentrates on the essentials, displaying nothing but the time, the day of the week, and the date.
The Viaggio is 42mm wide, 49mm long, and 13mm thick from its case back to its domed sapphire crystal.
The dial is dished, curving upward at the index.
Slim, sinuous lugs, and a tapered case keep it trim, making the watch seem slightly smaller than it really is.
Satin-finished like the rest of the watch, it bears an embossed logo tastefully accented by polished peaks.
The layout is so clean, open, and free of clutter; the 3-day date window has room to breathe.
Beneath the dial, a complex automatic movement made by a traditional Japanese manufacturer is doing its job.
While certainly not a tool watch, it exudes a taut, sporty flair accentuated by the no-nonsense the satin finish.
It is rated for 50m water resistance; more than sufficient for daily wear.
The watch strap is made of vegetable-tanned leather or available in a mesh-Milanaise strap in case colour.
The glass back provides a view of the rotor on which the credo “Live the Momentum” is engraved.
