Wiesbaden, Germany
Wiesbaden — Fischerstrasse is a recent construction project by HS 02 Huthwelker Stoehr & Partner for Orion IV European 23 S.A.R.L. that comprises an office building for approximately 240 workplaces and two residential buildings (point-blocks) with 43 residential units as well as an underground parking area.

Three buildings are planned as new mixed-use developments on top of an existing base: A linear block as an office building and two-point blocks as residential development (House A & B).
They include 43 residential units distributed over five floors (four standard ones and a penthouse).
A new outdoor area with green spaces, gardens for private use, and a playground for children as well as a bicycle parking area are located on top of the underground parking.
Wiesbaden — Fischerstrasse has recently been awarded a 2022 International Architecture Awards Honorable Mention by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

In the façade view of the office building, a visual, lively sequence is created.
The emerging rhythm appears as a recurring accentuation.
The rhythm modulates an otherwise strict sequence by grouping without tension and deliberately creating imbalances.

A strict beat must sometimes be added to the steadiness of the movement so that the rhythm is experienced in direct contrast.
The visual design device structures the façade image.
Further factors in the rhythm are the floor plans and sections as a “choreographic score,” as well as the contrast of light and shadow zones created by changing daylight.
