Industrial designer William Welch creates the new Okina Flatware—the physical embodiment of Yin Yang, light and dark.
The project has been awarded a 2020 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies for its inspired shapes.
Two contrasting knife designs form part of one contrasting collaboration; the Orient-inspired curvaceous knives and the European minimal straight knives.

Okina Flatware allows restaurants to change the aesthetic of the table setting for lunch and dinner services through the switching of knife designs whilst using the same forks and spoons.

The Fork utensil heads have deep round bowls to collect lots of sauce.
18/10 Stainless Steel, 10-year warranty.

The company offers a full recycling service for end-of-life products for sustainability.
