Spinni, designed by Thom Fougere, is the latest addition to Division Twelve’s bent metal furniture collection.
It is a stool that swivels a full 360° creating a feeling of playfulness while being supportive and stylish.
The Spinni stool has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
This is the first collaboration between Division Twelve and designer Thom Fougere, who was inspired by the work of American artist Ellsworth Kelly, which informed the geometric shapes of the stool.
Spinni’s backrest is a rectangle, the footrest and seat are circles, and the angle of the legs mimics the shape of a triangle.
Division Twelve’s vibrant color palette of 20+ powder coats allows you to play with color just like an influential artist when designing your own Spinni.
Spinni is available in two standard heights, barstool and counter. Spinni features a unique T-back detail that showcases the bent metal construction while also providing support.
Spinni is also carbon neutral which means that Division Twelve reduced carbon emissions at every stage of their processes. The brand offsets the remaining carbon, that cannot be eliminated, with investments in third-party verified carbon offset projects through Bluesource, such as the Francis Biedler Forest Improvement
