PDR and Signifier Medical Technologies design the journey to better sleep with the new eXciteOSA, a daytime therapy that improves sleep quality.
The project has been awarded a 2020 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
eXciteOSA 2019 is the first ever daytime treatment for snoring and sleep disordered breathing. Around 40% of men and 24% of women suffer with these conditions.
eXciteOSA 2019 treats the root cause using low intensity electrical pulses to train the tongue muscles and prevent snoring.
The device does not need to be worn at night and has been designed for simple and effective use, at home, by a broad range of users.
