Paolo Pininfarina along with the whole Pininfarina Design Team presents an impressive driving simulator for those who want to relive the charm and elegance of the historic cars of the past thanks to the technologies of the future.

Pininfarina completed the project in collaboration with The Classic Car Trust ,the exclusive provider of services for classic car collectors.

The Leggenda Simulator project has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

A faithful and immersive experience created starting from the strong love and deep passion that TCCT and Pininfarina have for the classic automotive world.

The design of the simulator takes inspiration from the legendary Cisitalia 202, the first car in the world to be permanently on display in a Museum of Modern Art, the MoMA in New York.

Starting from the elegant and timeless forms that have made it the title of “rolling sculpture”, Pininfarina created a new sculpture, this time “static” but capable of running and competing for thanks to digital technology.

“Leggenda” was entirely designed and subsequently assembled at the Pininfarina plants in Cambiano in a limited series of 9 pieces, created to celebrate Pininfarina’s 90th anniversary.
