California-based architects Minarc’s Plús Hús Oasis is a 320-square-foot, simple, efficient, and multi-purposeful structure designed to let anyone add an affordable, environmentally responsible space to their property.

Plús Hús is an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), a structure designed to allow anyone to add an environmentally responsible space to their property.
For its smart design, the Plús Hús Oasis has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Plús Hús – Icelandic for “Plus House” – minimizes time, waste, and noise associated with traditional construction.

Plús Hús is a 16-by-20-foot multi-purpose structure that can be added to just about any property with minimal wasted energy and environmental impact.
Each prefab unit is locally manufactured and built using mnmMod panels, a new sustainable building material, and finished with a metal panel roof, exterior siding, maple interior cladding, and a sliding glass door.
Plús Hús can be a place for living, work, or play, thanks to three configurations on offer: a plain open-plan box, a room with a bathroom, or a room with a bathroom and a kitchen.
