Fable Waste Bag Holder, designed by Ben Li of Harvok and manufactured by Harvok is a sleek poop bag holder created with silicone straps and a lightweight hard plastic shell that can accommodate rolls of 45 bags, while the cap twists off so you can reload bags when empty, that makes picking up after your fur friend quicker, easier, and far less cumbersome.
The Fable Waste Bag Holder has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Its dual-attachment strategy ensures that the product is fully secured onto the leash (no dangling) without sliding around.
The silicone attachment strap can be fastened around any leash, with a silicone mating feature that snaps into the plastic holder, making installation quick and easy.
An additional silicone loop can be used to tie onto any D-ring, a feature common to most leashes.
This same silicone loop is specially designed to pair with Fable’s line of “Magic Link” leashes which can be worn hands-free as a belt, bandolier, or wrist strap.
Typical poop bag holders offer a convenient way to store a roll of bags, but none make reloading, use, and dispensing as hassle-free as the Fable Waste Bag Holder.
The durable plastic holder features a lockable twist cap making it easy to load and unload rolls of bags.
The Fable poop bag rolls have perforations designed to easily catch on an external tab, affording easy, one-handed bag separation.
A silicone gripper located inside the canister secures the roll in place, preventing extra bags from slipping out and ensuring the user never has to fish for the last bag.
The overall shape, proportions, and rigid plastic material of the bag holder/lid are reminiscent of film canisters, a familiar shape for a vessel designed to contain a roll.
Rather than a perfect circular profile, the canister geometry contains a protruding lip, which serves as a visual cue for the location of bag dispensing as well as an intuitive alignment cue for installing the twist-lock cap.
The product comes in a variety of five soft colors from Fable’s brand color palette to match Fable’s other pet products.
