Chee Kin Pang and his design team at the Singaporean Igloocompany have designed a new mobile app-enabled smart lock called “Retrofit Lock” that works offline for enhanced reliability and security.
Igloohome Retrofit Lock’s design has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Built for ease of installation, the Retrofit Lock fits over existing hardware to turn any door into a smart one. Its compact design is sleek, stylish and features a universal aesthetic to complement your home’s décor.
No worries about WiFi hacking or disruption. Guests will not need to download an app to receive PIN code access.
Using the innovative algoPIN technology, you can grant access via the igloohome app anytime, anywhere.
Compatible with the igloohome Keypad and Key Fob, the Retrofit Lock offers a myriad of access modes.
Use PIN codes on the Keypad or unlock via the Key Fob, there’s something for everyone in the family.
Alternatively, your keys will still work in any unforeseen circumstances.
