Stockholm, Sweden
During Stockholm Design Week 2022, Form Us With Love opened to the public their studio space on the waterfront in the Swedish capital’s city center as a new functional space for creation, as well as a gathering space for creativity, and also unveiled furniture designs developed specifically for their office in collaboration with architects Förstberg Ling and the creative agency Figur.

The new 2,000 sqm studio takes over a former travel agency, stripped back to a blank canvas for the team’s operations, allowing them not only to display their work to guests but also to practically operate in the environment.
The walls were painted gray to aid concentration and form a backdrop to their creative ideas.
A series of floor-to-ceiling hangar doors serve as sliding walls that separate a street-facing gallery from rooms dedicated to office, workshop, and communal areas, also allowing the front of the studio to be sectioned off from the remainder of the space.

The new furniture responds to the demands of a dynamic workspace and features perforated steel modules that have been configured into desks, storage, a library, and display plinths.
Six low, wheeled cabinets made from perforated steel were used to display the firm’s projects.
Produced by Tunnplåt AB—a company that normally supplies utilitarian lockers to schools, gyms, and other public-sector interiors—the desks, cabinets, and storage containers repeat the pattern of symmetrical holes, which are easily identifiable as peg holes.
