Using simple geometry rules, the Signify Design team presents Philips MyCreation – a table light with a cylindrical base that can be dressed up or down by a choice of expressive 3D-printed textures and colors and creates a warm atmosphere as it illuminates the corner of a room.
The Philips MyCreation table lamps have been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The design varies depending on the use of the lamp offering each space its uniqueness.
From a ridged “architectural column” for a desk to a soft quilted pastel-colored base for the bedroom, these texture and color combinations transform the personality of the lamp to suit various locations in the home, as well as various interior decor.
The 3D textures were developed by working closely with 3D printing machines and exploring the possibilities of digital craftsmanship.
