Milano-based Gessi has released an impressive tap unit as part of its Gessi Spa Collection that is made from segments of bamboo that stand out for its high-end character.
Named Jacqueline, the object itself is the “fulcrum that encapsulates all the cultural values of GESSI, and becomes, within the most intimate living environment, the very expression of the person who lives that space, an element of that same personality.”
The Jacqueline tap succeeds in becoming the element that can give that well-being that only haute couture creations can offer because they are built around the person who wears them.
Therefore, a collection that is beautiful, precious, with personality but at the same time comfortable and natural, which allows the creation of unique and fascinating environments, thanks to the choice of using a material present in nature but never before applied in bathroom furniture: bamboo.
Gessi, which has always been inspired for its lines by nature, and in particular by the infinite forms of water, has chosen to employ the hollow roots of bamboo for the surprising Jacqueline collection: the roots are selected one by one, by diameter and pitch between the knots, in order to adapt them with the utmost naturalness to the creation of mixers and furnishing accessories that make the bathroom and one’s wellness space an oasis of well-being and harmony.
The tap is available in ten metallic and colored finishes including nickel, brass, bronze, copper, and others, and comes in a range of mounting formats. It is also available in metal with leather-effect or imitation horn details.
