Daniel Orozco from Daniel Orozco Estudio has unveiled an unconventional furniture and lighting collection created in collaboration with craftspeople and other creatives.
“The Original” encompasses unique works that reinterpret the traditional norms of furniture design and accentuate seemingly mundane elements to recreate them in a new and original visage.
“By putting your heart into everything you do, the journey and every moment and process are very enjoyable; you learn a lot and there is something for everyone in this world,” shares Daniel Orozco.
“Let us always continue collaborating as colleagues and creating spectacular places as a community,” he adds, emphasizing the significance of collaboration with craftspeople and artists in his work.
The collection marks the continuation of a theme that has long been important to the studio, which also aims to keep environmental impact to a minimum by utilizing natural materials.
The pieces attribute to an organic ethos established in previous projects, which utilized locally sourced materials such as wood, concrete, seaweed, and ceramic for furniture created by local artisans.
The studio curates spaces lead the interior design and furniture styling projects and creates custom-made furniture and accessories.
All projects are sustainably focused, with a particular emphasis on renewable energies.
