Designed by Consentino, the Sunlit Days by Silestone is the first-ever carbon neutral collection from the quartz surfaces and engineered stone industry.

This milestone, which follows the recent rebranding of Silestone by Cosentino, demonstrates the brand’s commitment to industry-transforming sustainability innovations and leading environmental management that are paramount to Cosentino Group.
Created with the new, exclusive HybriQ® technology by Silestone, its manufacturing process uses 99% reused water, 100% renewable electric energy, and a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials in its composition, while significantly reducing the presence of crystalline silica.
That is why the design of Sunlit Days by Silestone has been recently awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

With this new composition, the outstanding mechanical and technical performance and timeless beauty of Silestone remain intact.
To supplement these advancements in its manufacturing process, Cosentino has committed to offsetting all carbon dioxide emissions for the entire lifecycle of the Silestone Sunlit Days Collection through a variety of voluntary offsetting projects with the Voluntary Carbon Market.
This initiative is also complemented by a partnership program for the preservation of the seabed.

In addition to its game-changing sustainability, the new collection embraces a bright color narrative that celebrates nature found in the Mediterranean – all inspired by human values and simple, yet profound ways of living.
Each of the five hues (Faro White, Cincel Grey, Arcilla Red, Cala Blue, and Posidonia Green) serve as a tribute to the way of life of real people who have found their true essence by the Mediterranean.
Faro White represents the white of the Mediterranean and its sun-drenched walls, symbolizing purity, simplicity, and serenity, inspired by the lighthouses that point the way for ships, this color is also characterized by a silky, smooth texture.

Cincel Grey is a fine-grained, silky grey, a shade that performs at its best when bathed in light. It is neutral and versatile, balanced between warm and cool.
Arcilla Red is, an earthy red shade that makes you fall in love, tastes like wine, and smells of petrichor.
Essence, a burst of color, strength, passion, and a lot of character. Its soft texture blends harmoniously with its beauty.

Cala Blue is a deep and sophisticated blue color that vibrates with the rest of the elements that surround it. Its texture feels like the caress of the sea.
The new colors offer a wide range of applications with the potential to serve not only as countertops but also as backsplashes or wall cladding in high-moisture or high-traffic areas.
