Created by Adient Aerospace, Ascent is the latest seating project for business class travelers that ticks all the boxes offering privacy, comfort, and enough room for work and play with enough storage space for one’s personal items.

The design has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Ascent meets the needs of business passengers traveling alone, wanting complete privacy, and those traveling together, wanting social interaction during long-haul flights.

For passengers traveling together, the center seats of O-Series become a shared space when the privacy divider is fully lowered, creating the ‘Cabana Suite’ where couples can enjoy a movie or meal together.

Focusing not only on passenger comfort of ergonomics, but also designed for a holistic cabin experience adding thoughtful touches for wellness, sleeping, and productivity.
