ACPV Architects – Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel have completed one of their latest projects, the design of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo for Mitsui Fudosan, which draws on Italian design and Japanese traditions for a one-of-a-kind luxury hospitality experience.
The eighth piece in Bulgari’s hospitality collection, Bulgari Hotel Tokyo occupies six floors of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu ultra-skyscraper.
The building overlooks the quiet premises, fascinating history, and natural environment of the Imperial Palace Gardens.
Moreover, the soaring heights offer stunning views of the city and Mount Fuji.
The hotel’s interior design offers a sophisticated blend of contemporary Italian design with touches of Japanese tradition, conveying Bulgari’s core values of outstanding craftsmanship and artistic detail to create efficient living spaces.
The arrival sequence leads guests from the ground floor’s meticulously designed drop off area to the 40th floor’s reception area, hotel lobby and all major public spaces.
This includes the spa and the banqueting areas, which feature an interior design that is imbued with the spirit of Italian aesthetic of Bulgari.
The aesthetic is complemented with symbols of Japanese culture and the precision of skilled Japanese artisans who brought the project to life.
Bulgari Hotel Tokyo comprises 98 guest rooms, including a variety of twin and double-room and suites of 7 different categories that all offer an endless panoramic view of Tokyo through a full-length glass façade.
Situated on the 44th floor, the 400-sqm Bulgari Suite is among the most spacious in the city.
