Casa Cini is a prefabricated housing system developed and produced in Brazil by Cinex. Founded over 25 years ago as a manufacturer of kitchen glass and aluminum doors, the company evolved into an industrial entity specializing in large architectural sliding systems.
Its expertise in high-precision aluminum and glass manufacturing enabled Cinex to scale the project to the entire building envelope. Under Adriano Design’s art direction since 2023, Cinex developed Casa Cini: a home conceived as an integrated industrial system.

The project addresses the traditional construction supply chain crisis, marked by unpredictable execution and a gap between design and build. Casa Cini transfers industrial product logic into living spaces: integrated design, controlled production, millimeter precision, and predefined schedules and costs.
The dwelling features a modular steel frame structure and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass walls. Derived from Cinex technology, these transparent surfaces are not just openings but variable confinement devices: they delimit space when necessary and retract for outdoor expansion.

The domestic space becomes an elastic organism that contracts and expands, altering the perception of actual square footage. This compact layout is visually and functionally expanded by continuity with the landscape, creating a large space integrated with the environment.
Internal transformability is central. Casa Cini moves beyond large homes subdivided into static rooms, proposing a compact layout that changes configuration throughout the day. Instead of the user moving between rooms, the architecture itself transforms.
The bed, walk-in closet, study, kitchen, and partitions are integrated into mobile units sliding on magnetic slides. This technology allows equipped walls and functional volumes to move with minimal effort, making daily transformation simple and accessible.

Reducing square footage is a sustainable design choice: concentrating functions within an adaptive space lowers land, material, and energy consumption while maintaining a high quality of living.

Casa Cini redefines the home as a controlled, engineered, and replicable industrial product, responding to the challenges of traditional construction through precision, efficiency, and reduced environmental impact. Factory-built with optimized materials and configurable structural modules, the system enables scalability, adaptability, and consistent quality.

Drawing from Cinex’s sliding technology, movable walls and functional elements transform the interior into a dynamic space that adapts to changing needs throughout the day. Floor-to-ceiling glass surfaces further blur the boundary between inside and out, creating a flexible relationship with the landscape while supporting a more sustainable approach through conscious spatial efficiency.
Reducing square footage is a deliberate design strategy, not a compromise. Internal transformability and perceptual expansion concentrate complex functions within limited areas, lowering land, material, and energy use without reducing the living experience quality.
Casa Cini introduces a housing model where industrialization, modularity, spatial transformability, and sustainability converge into an integrated system, redefining the relationship between the home, the production process, and the environment.
