The Oslo-based design studio Skogstad and Wærnes created a chair for Fora Form that elegantly blends minimalism with playfulness and comfort.
The designers wanted to create “a chair with a lot of personality without being the dominant element in the room. A friendly character, honest and enveloping – a supporting friend.”
Bud is a chair that inspires creativity welcoming users to make their own combinations based on their needs and aesthetics.
It comes in a variety of upholstery textiles and leathers, and seven painted colors on the frame and bases.
The chair is designed with a sturdy frame that can be mounted on four different bases – four-leg stacking, four-leg swivel with auto return, star base with swivel, and star base with wheels.
The uniform and curved backrest provides comfort, support, and flexibility to the chair. The detailing at the ends gives the chair a distinct identity and character.
