Premium kitchen appliance designers and manufacturers Bertazzoni expand their built-in appliance collection with a 24” and an 18” Built-in Wine Column, a stylish new option to store and display wine in optimal conditions that allow users to adjust the refrigerator temperature according to their needs.

The design and functionality of this project have been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Launched with more than 100 other new built-in introductions, the wine column joins Bertazzoni’s refrigerator and freezer columns as the brand’s first-ever food and beverage preservation products.

These premium built-in columns reflect Bertazzoni’s engineering expertise, combining the best of design and technology.
Their stainless-steel and glass front doors are made with high-quality materials and designed to pair seamlessly with Bertazzoni’s other built-in columns and full appliance suite, with design harmonized details including matching handles and carefully tailored proportions.

A tinted triple glass, UV-protected door allows homeowners to put their collections on display while protecting the wine from light damage, and custom LED lighting keeps the lights on for up to 12 hours for maximum visual impact.
While some manufacturers create wine cabinets with a focus on maximizing the number of bottles that can fit within a column, Bertazzoni tailored its new wine column based on how homeowners use their storage — with details like a cooler zone at the bottom of the white wine section for Prosecco and the ability to accommodate larger and rounder bottles, like champagne, at every level.

Designed to enhance everyday use, other key features include humidity control (High, Medium, Low), a compressor equipped with a vibration-dampening system, and precious wood shelves with extra smooth glides.
The columns offer a high level of control, with temperature zones for red and white wines that cool between 40° F and 65° F, and a unique side-to-side airflow circulation maintains the correct temperature even when opening the door for reloading.

For collectors wishing to age wines over a long period of time, the aging function can accommodate custom needs.
Users can set the accurate temperature and humidity controls and lay down the bottles, safe in the knowledge they will be kept in the best condition possible.
