Beijing Guanzhuan Landscape Planning and Design Institution unveils its plans for a conceptual structure on behalf of Egret Bay Art Museum, located in Rizhao, Shandong Province.
Boundless Theater has recently been awarded a 2023 International Architecture Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The site is at the east foot of Wulian Mountain, a famous, sacred Buddhist mountain.
The project combines the aesthetic space with the natural landscape.
The construction concept of the town is to “reshape the relationship between man and nature.”
After more than ten years of construction, it seems to be an ideal place for people to live.
The structure is like a small thatched canopy hidden in deep mountains and lakes in Chinese landscape painting, facing the landscape with an elegant attitude, and taking nature as the soul.
The concept is that when cherry trees are blossoming all over the place, the theater will accommodate the visitor that is the free element in this space.
