Designed by American Prize for Architecture laureates Arquitectonica and ODP Architecture and Design with interiors by Rockwell Group, the new twin Miami luxury residential towers project Nema for developer Crescent Heights is at the center of the city’s leading neighborhoods reflects the functional abundance of its location by bringing together the best of Miami’s art and culture, hospitality, retail, and tech-powered convenience.
According to the original plans for the site, two towers are expected to rise near the borders of Wynwood and within what is considered Midtown Miami, the interior lot is just two blocks away from Biscayne Bay, bounded by NE 29th St. to the south, NE 2nd Ct. to the west, NE 30th St. to the north and Biscayne Blvd. to the east.
Located at the edge of Wynwood and Edgewater, NEMA will be centrally located close to the Design District as well as Brickell.
NEMA buildings are both built and operated with a variety of sustainable features, including interiors designed with recycled materials and landscaped outdoor spaces that minimize the urban heat island effect.
NEMA is an environmentally conscious member of its community, designed to meet the demanding LEED standards.
The first 39-story project to rise will feature 588 rental apartments, 748 parking spots, and a Whole Foods outpost on the ground floor, totaling 911,895 square feet.
The building’s modern style with a glass exterior reflects the Miami sky.
Construction is underway for this residential project that is intended to reflect the functional abundance of its location by bringing together the best of Miami’s art and culture, hospitality, retail, and tech-powered convenience.
The design represents the culture of the neighborhood in which it is located.
The second phase of Nema is also planned with another 400 apartments.
The estimated completion date is summer 2024.
