Salvatierra-Agurain (Alava), Spain
Vitoria-based Aitor Garcia de Vicuña joins forces with Portuguese furniture company Movecho and together unveil a collection of room dividers and sound-absorbing elements that are meant to become a useful tool in the hands of architects and interior designers.
The UVA divider collection is very elegant and is the perfect combination of form and function.
It is a combination of pure geometries between pleasant places and human sensations, between architectures and emotions.
UVA’s design has been awarded a 2020 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The UVA collection brings meaning, rhythm, and soft volumes along with possibilities and functionality.
The collection consists of standing dividers of different sizes, as well as sound control wall solutions.
This allows for endless configurations in straight or curved spaces, thanks to its concave modules.
It has an option for ancillary coat racks and shelves, allowing for integrated solutions for work, lounge, or contract spaces.
Movecho has the privilege of being surrounded by vineyards, in a land of great wines, full of ancestral traditions, passion, and profound feelings.
A luxury and a gift of nature. Thus, it has created UVA (grape), as a tribute to all of this.
