Hyundai Engineering & Construction and DesignPark introduce a 100% playground facility, printed as the world’s first installed & prepared for actual kid’s plays that passes all safety standards.
This has the story following the playground concept, the functions supporting kids’ play activities & needs, and the huge volume regarding human scales.
Furthermore, the designers are proposing a new model of plastic recycling movement by using disused plastics partly from the car manufacturing process of Hyundai Motor Group.
The 3D Printed Moon Playground has recently been awarded a 2023 Green Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Since the recycling system we built through this product is verified reliable, we are preparing the next product increasing the amount of the disused plastic.
This project will present a better model not only with the possibility but also with the durability & reality of advanced technology adapting to our daily life.
On the other hand, we are also proposing an alternative way of the plastic recycling process for environmental sustainability.
Society, we hope, could verify more practical methods to keep itself more sustainable by using high-end technology as we proposed.
