Tainan, Taiwan

At Univacco, we are committed to pioneering innovative solutions that promote sustainability. By leveraging Taiwan’s textile industry, we have transformed our used film into high-quality yarn, resulting in the “Univacco ReFilm Polo Shirt.” What may seem like unrelated elements—decorative film and apparel—are now part of a cohesive lifecycle.
Crafted from 100% recycled materials, the Univacco ReFilm Polo Shirt reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility. By combining post-consumer PET bottles with used film, we create premium pellets that form the foundation for our garments, reducing waste and showcasing sustainable design.
The Univacco ReFilm Polo Shirt emphasizes the value of used film, particularly its main component, PET. As Univacco supplies hot stamping and cold transfer films to printing houses, the leftover film becomes waste film. To address concerns about generating additional waste, we highlight that discarded PET is a valuable resource that can be repurposed. Made from 100% recycled materials, it uses an optimized blend of 20% used film and 80% recycled PET bottles (approximately equivalent to 22 plastic bottles), perfected through extensive formula refinement. This meticulous process ensures the resulting yarn not only reduces waste but also creates garments that are comfortable to wear.

The Univacco ReFilm Polo Shirt, made from 100% recycled materials, features an optimized blend of 20% used film and 80% recycled PET bottles. This carefully calibrated formula, perfected through extensive refinement, produces high-quality yarn essential for creating garments that are both sustainable and exceptionally comfortable to wear.
This production process reduces waste and promotes eco-friendly practices. The shirt combines style with sustainability, enabling users to express their values. Its story sparks conversations about recycling and responsible consumption, making it a versatile choice for any occasion.
The Univacco ReFilm Polo Shirt is distinctive for being the first in the decorative film industry to implement the recycling of used film and recycled PET bottles into stylish fashion. Competing in the sustainable fashion market, it appeals to eco-conscious consumers without sacrificing aesthetics.

Key innovations include a unique recycling process featuring separation, purification, and recipe optimization to transform waste into high-quality yarn. This project strengthens the Univacco brand by underscoring its dedication to sustainability and innovation, positioning it as a leader in eco-friendly practices and fostering customer loyalty.
The Univacco ReFilm Polo Shirt project gives new life to used films and recycled PET bottles by transforming them into high-quality yarn, promoting sustainability with 100% recycled materials. Each shirt saves 527g of CO2 emissions, helping Univacco reduce the carbon footprint of its sold hot stamping and cold transfer films while fostering a circular economy.
Socially, the project raises awareness that using Univacco’s hot stamping and cold transfer film decorations on packaging and labels is not wasteful or harmful to the environment. Univacco’s initiative shows that decorative finishes and sustainability can coexist without conflict.
