Xiaoke Huang works along with Suofeiya Home Collection to create a furniture design project based on babies’ behavior and growth, a piece of furniture launched to facilitate a healthy life for children and easier for the parents.
The Multifunctional Children’s Bed And Storage Cabinet Combination has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
This multifunctional children’s furniture set is composed of solid wood and traditional rattan materials, with a geometric and simple arc design language, which not only facilitates parents to observe the situation in the bed but also prevents children from bumping.
The bed body can be adjusted up and down through the bottom plate to meet various usage scenarios.
After the child grows up, the solid wood grille can be removed and the pillows can be added to convert it into a children’s sofa module; the diaper table is a platform for babies to change diapers, and can also be used as a storage and platform for toys, daily necessities, and food.
It can be transformed into a desk and bookcase module when the baby grows up, allowing the furniture to follow the growth of the child and enriching the scope and function of the product.
The products are produced in the company’s intelligent unmanned workshop, which ensures the high-precision process and fast production rate of materials, and are transported to the user’s home for assembly through flat packaging, which not only saves transportation costs but also reduces the packaging area to protect the ecological environment.
