Paris, France
Paris-based furniture brand Tiptoe has introduced the New Modern modular table system collection with trestle-style steel leg units that can be paired with different tabletops.
The legs can to be combined with a tabletop of any choice to give a dining room or office a unique and sleek industrial style.
The tables are developed from responsibly sourced recycled or recyclable materials: tabletops are rendered in either pinewood certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) or in a terrazzo-style recycled plastic made from discarded yogurt pots.
Every component of the table can be easily repaired or replaced.
The tables are also shipped in an 80-per-cent-recycled paper in order to reduce the plastic waste and carbon emissions related to transportation.
Headed by Matthieu Bourgeaux and Vincent Quesada, the company’s mission is to make sustainable furniture that altogether would be well-designed, well-made, and built-to-last while addressing the challenges of modern life.
