Thos. Moser’s Bijou Lift Desk is a design project inspired by the need for an ergonomic, flexible, and highly functional desk that meets today’s technology demands.

This adjustable height desk features handmade wooden feet, a solid grain-matched work surface, and a hinged storage compartment with integrated power and USB ports.
The project has recently been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Throughout the design, a radiused edge brings a solid and contemporary style to the desk that complements any work environment.
The Bijou desk’s solid working surface is ideal for laptops, tablets, and notebooks.

The lid, nestled within the desk’s frame, opens and closes on hidden mortise hinges. Concealed beneath the lid are three storage compartments for smaller everyday office items, with the central compartment housing two 110V outlets, one USB A Port, and one USB C port.

The beveled cutout in front of the outlets allows for easy and clean wire management. This beveled edge is mirrored in the desk’s cut-away front edge, creating a comfortable surface for resting the user’s forearms.

To adjust the height of the desk, simply press the top of the button. The desk lowers to 26 inches, and by pushing upward on the controller’s underside, the desk rises, reaching a maximum height of 51 inches.
