Promoting a functionally diverse downtown, the redevelopment of 654 Main Street Residences by Theodore Touloukian of Touloukian Touloukian for Ad Meliora, will enrich the Center Business District (CBD) public streets through walkable sidewalks, outdoor seating, mixed-use streetscapes, and the revitalization of local retail within the Winchester Cultural District.

654 Main Street Residences have received a 2022 American Architecture Awards Honorable Mention from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The main proposal is of a four-story building proposal including two commercial spaces with a total of approximately 6,168 net square feet and 36 residential condominium units distributed among all four floors with a total of approximately 31,252 net sf of rentable residential living space.

It also includes central amenity spaces adjacent to the courtyard, and approximately forty-one automated parking spaces at the basement level.
The purpose of the project is to reinforce cultural and central business district gateways allowing future development.
