Designed with great attention to aesthetics and ergonomics, Hussechuck & Shield by Přemysl Kokeš, David Rosinai, and Zuzana Ambrožová of Amplla is a long-awaited upgrade to the ubiquitous fire extinguisher.

For its dedication to better design, Hussechuck & Shield has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
There are fire extinguishers worldwide, always the same, red, a cylinder, a nozzle.
But always the same dissonance with their surroundings. They are discordant with the environments we create.
We hide them in cabinets and alcoves or create elaborate ways to conceal them but somehow still try to show that they are there.

Why do we accept that something so out of place cannot be changed? Sometimes it’s just history.
Three visionary people, designers, and architects Přemysl Kokeš, David Rosinai, Zuzana Ambrožová took three years to reconstruct, test, and manufacture the new Hussechuck / Shield (“Hussechuck” with cover).
These products are made for architects, interior designers, upmarket commercial premises, majestic buildings, and public spaces that want to maintain their image and design integrity without hiding the fire extinguisher.
The designers create concepts to fit the environment and can customize each shield to blend in.
They do this with metallic finishes, textures, fabrics, artistic renders, and pictures.

The extinguisher’s dimensions defy all existing fire extinguishers.
It only takes 80 mm of space from the wall.
Moreover, it hides all its significant elements, such the trigger, safety lock or seal, thus preventing them from unauthorized handling.
The designers have created a rescue point that can not only put out fires but can hold equipment like defibrillators, masks, and first aid.
These designs are effective, with up to 6kg of the most effective extinguishing agent, delivered behind a shield, with a mask that could save your life.

Due to its innovative design, it is the only fire extinguisher in the world protected from tampering with the seal, fuse, valve, and hose.
But these extinguishers are also something else, they are beautiful renditions, artistic pieces designed to be seen, lived with, and placed in plain sight.
They can be equipped with light and sound as well.
Amplla prides itself on the aesthetics of innovation, the creation of change, and a synergistic approach to living safely.

The designers have developed, patented, and certified the best fire extinguishers in the world that have 22 improvements and will better protect their owners.
They have built a manufacturing plant where these products are handcrafted and gave birth to the Amplla brand derived from the word “amplification.”
By expanding and amplifying the capabilities of fire extinguishers, for the first time they are truly unique, different, and beautiful.
Amplla is design simplicity, the evolution of the fire extinguisher, which is the world‘s flattest, operatable with only one hand, intuitive, and perfectly ergonomic.
