The Diamante tables are designed as refined companions for sofas and armchairs, functioning as elegant coffee tables that combine sculptural presence with exceptional craftsmanship. Created from strands of super-clear transparent polycarbonate with a green glass effect, each top is carefully “woven” by hand, giving the material a fluid, organic appearance that captures and reflects light. The name Diamante, dedicated to the friend Diamante D’Alessio, perfectly expresses the essence of this exceptionally pure material, which sparkles and refracts light like a cluster of precious diamonds.
When placed under natural or artificial light sources, the surface fragments and diffuses light into a rich spectrum of reflections and shades, creating a constantly changing visual effect. The tables seem almost alive as their translucent texture interacts with the surrounding environment.
Every object in Jacopo Foggini’s collection is conceived as a unique sculptural piece. Variations in height, irregular widths and shapes, along with the minute fragments and natural imperfections of the material, reveal the beauty of the handcrafted process. Colour tones, density and the flowing movement of the polycarbonate strands ensure that no two pieces are ever identical. Each Diamante table is therefore unique, yet always maintains a refined and understated elegance.
The vibrant colours further enhance the luminous character of the design, generating shimmering light-and-shadow effects through the variable density of the polycarbonate and the dynamic flow of its woven texture. The tables, approximately 80 centimetres in diameter, are available in three different heights, allowing them to be arranged individually or grouped together to form larger or smaller islands. Completing the design is a conical metal base, offered in gold, palladium or ruthenium finishes, which reflects light, colours and textures, adding an additional layer of brilliance and making each piece even more precious.
