California-based SUPER73 challenges traditional bike culture and expands personal transportation perception via the SUPER73 C1X Electric Motorcycle that combines technological innovation and exceptional design.
The company’s founders refused to be boxed in, creating SUPER73 to be a lifestyle brand that inspired both community and adventure.
With these broad horizons, SUPER73 has developed a range of the most sophisticated electric bikes on the market.
For its groudbreaking design innovation, the project has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The C1X Electric Motorcycle is a “step-up” street-legal model from SUPER73 that redefines the category in both size and performance.
With a 75+ mph top speed and a 25% overall size reduction, the C1X is both ultra-agile and accessible when compared to other lightweight motorcycles.
To accomplish a compact platform, the team chose 15” wheels to reduce both the wheelbase and overall visual silhouette.
Inspired by Brat and Cafe motorcycles, the designers vertically reformatted the dominant proportion, supporting mass centralization and rider control.
A focus on rider-active surfaces making the C1X a slim and ergonomic achievement.
The 31” seat height makes the C1X an ideal platform for riders wishing to make the step from e-bikes to moto and pass the DMV riding test.
Now SUPER73 riders can expect premium motorcycle performance with dramatically reduced size and weight.
With customization being at the heart of Super73’s revolutionary ebike lineup, the C1X continues that both stylistically and functionally.
The modular fairing options offer an unprecedented ability to change both style and image with ease.
To accomplish this, the designers focused on elemental design that would support multiple variations without disrupting the overall performance and use case of the motorcycle.
