Inspired by Bennet’s Hill facing Landmark South, Sino Group’s Upcycled Bench at Landmark South is composed of a series of upcycled plastic pieces connected together to echo the overlapping silhouettes of the mountains.
The Upcycled Bench at Landmark South project has recently been awarded a 2023 Green Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The team collected local household plastic waste from the community over the past year, which was processed and re-molded into this unique piece.
When the visitors are embraced by the artwork, ‘In the Mountains’, the team hopes to motivate them to appreciate and protect our beloved nature.
