Inspired by Sunday afternoons in Santa Monica, the Arms Lounger designed by the Furniture Smith’s design team gains inspiration from the feeling of peace and relaxation, designed for comfort and social interactions with others.

The Arms Lounger has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and a 2023 Prize Design for Modern Furniture + Lighting by Global Design News and The Chicago Athenaeum Museum for Architecture and Design.
The mood at the beach is energetic yet relaxed and social and the form of the Arms Lounger reflects those characteristics
The shorter length compared to straight-legged lounge chairs allows it to fit in smaller spaces and the upright position promotes interaction with others.
Powder-coated aluminum and teak provide ample protection from the elements in an outdoor environment.

Slots in the sheet metal frame allow captured water to drain and add ventilation for drying.
With teak finishes in natural or weathered and multiple color options for the frame, the Arms series provides flexibility to fit any outdoor environment.
An optional fabric cushion provides added comfort and flexibility to create looks to match any environment.
