Featuring the latest 13th Gen Intel processors, NVIDIA RTX graphics, and a stunning 16-inch InfinityEdge display, Dell’s XPS 16 Laptop offers a seamless blend of productivity and immersive entertainment, designed to be distraction-free and offer a seamless experience.
For its design, the Dell XPS 16 Laptop has been awarded with a prestigious 2024 Good Design Award by the The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The device features a simplified design that removes visual complexity while maximizing the user interface.
A streamlined interior is unified through monochromatic hues to improve user focus. Enhanced interactive elements enable a faster, more effortless experience.
Directional speakers frame the keyboard to provide elevated audio.
The touch pad, palm rest, speakers and touch function row deliver one clean, harmonious surface.
The system is built from CNC-machined parts to deliver a strong, light, no-compromise device.
Color combinations on the XPS 16 work together cohesively for a calmer, sensorial design.
By eliminating contrast and using tonal matches on the interior/exterior, there’s an awareness of space and stillness.
Authentic hues allow the laptops to blend into users’ environments, enabling them to focus.
Removing the glass cover on the 16-inch display eliminates the barrier between the user and the image for an enhanced, uninterrupted experience and improved clarity.
Directional audio is accentuated with two high-frequency speakers on the top, pointing toward the user.
Two additional speakers are located on the sides, near the base vents, for crisp, captivating sound from every angle.
Sleek glass across the entire touch pad and palm rest simplifies, unifies, and elevates the interior.
The finish is smoother and friendlier to the touch and creates one consistent area for a cleaner appearance.
A maximized, seamless haptic touch pad provides targeted, reactive sensation, as well as removing traditional parting lines.
Piezo technology utilizes a series of small, actuated motors for precise, responsive feedback.
Activated by touch, capacitive sensing technology beneath the function row delivers a smoother appearance.
The backlit row allows users to hide less-used functions and eliminates visual clutter.
The lattice-free keyboard’s pure design allows for larger keycaps and an increased striking surface.
The new XPS 16 is designed using a more efficient manufacturing process that improves yield and decreases part waste, so it’s kinder to the environment.
Crafted from low-carbon aluminum, made using hydro power renewable energy sources, significantly reduces Dell’s carbon footprint.
Dell was able to reduce CO2 emissions by limiting anodizing and paint steps, as well as using waterborne paint.
