The Plus Rides electric scooter is a beautiful, foldable, and highly portable personal electric vehicle designed to make urban commuting simpler, faster, and more sustainable.
Developed by the creators of Uber’s JUMP Bikes and engineered in collaboration with Tomorrow Lab®, Plus is purpose-built for short trips and multimodal commutes.
Plus Rides by Tomorrow Lab, won a 2025 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design, and Urban Studies.
The scooter’s standout feature is its patent-pending fold-flat hinge, which allows it to collapse flatter than traditional scooters — no pinch points, no awkward latching.
Folded, it can be wheeled like luggage or carried by built-in handles, and it stores vertically in the included stand, taking up less than one square foot of floor space.

This makes it perfect for apartments, offices, and transit.
Plus offers a smooth, stable ride with 8.5 inch air-filled tires, a wooden deck on rubber sprints, a top speed of 15mph, a range of 8-10 miles per charge and dual brakes with the front electronic and rear drum via the fender.
These quality specs make it ideal for daily commutes, errands, or quick trips around the city.
Charging is fast and modern, being just under two hours using a standard USB-C charger, included with the scooter.
Designed with long-term ownership in mind, Plus is repairable at bike shops and is designed for easy maintenance.

There are no exposed wires, and major components can be disassembled in under 10 minutes, making repairs fast, affordable, and sustainable.
Plus is a zero-emission vehicle, using 10x less energy per mile than electric cars.
Every scooter mile saves about 0.5 kg of CO2 compared to a gas-powered car. Its modular design and serviceability reduce landfill waste and extend its lifecycle.
The scooter includes Bluetooth beacon technology for low-cost tracking and fleet management — no need for built-in cellular connectivity.
This makes it ideal for organisations running shared fleets, like college campuses or office parks.

Fleet buyers can also customise scooters with branded front plates, company logos and bulk purchasing options.
Plus is built to increase mobility access.
Its ease of use and transit integration help users connect to buses, trains, and subways — essential for people without cars or those living in underserved areas.
It supports equity by making sustainable transport available to more people.
