London, Great Britain
London-based designer Paul Crofts has brought an easy furniture solution for any office that welcomes clients, guests, or other visitors with the minimal, sleek Umi Greeter Station designed for Isomi.

With a clean, crisp aesthetic, Umi offers a flexible solution for interaction points in dynamic, contemporary spaces.
After the past year, it’s more important than ever that spaces in the hospitality and corporate sectors can be flexible and accommodating to the needs of customers.
The hassle-free Umi has been developed to allow users to connect directly to a floorplate where needed, or, where spatial requirements may change more quickly, is available with castors.

Supporting central placements, Umi benefits from a highly considered design concealing function within the form.
Arranged vertically the ribs of the oak storage disguise hinges and break lines, concealing all functionality of the piece within the design.
Produced in solid surface with an oak worktop and integrated storage, available with castors and delivered ready to place, each piece can be relocated as spacial requirements change.
A carbon capture renewable oak source was chosen, both for its environmental impacts (or lack thereof) and its warm appearance.

Tone and texture contrasts are created by pairing the solid surface shell with oak storage and work surface (an all-solid surface option is also available).
With multiple viewing points, Umi sits equally comfortably when placed as an individual piece or arranged in a series.
