Ryosuke Yoshida from Okamura Corporation’s Product Design Division has conceived an impressive design of these new work tables that stand out thanks to the skillful interplay of sustainability and versatility of use.
The new collection has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
As the protection of the global environment has become a major issue, there has been an increasing demand for recyclable and sustainable manufacturing.
This new series with its steel construction consists of meeting tables and coffee tables available in a variety of sizes and heights, as well as with a selection of frames.
The steel construction, with no plastics, makes the entire range 100% recyclable without disassembly.
The tabletops are hollow, thereby considerably reducing their weight and the amount of material needed.
The thin tabletop in combination with your desired base will create a beautiful appearance.
Thanks to seamless welds, the range has a pleasingly smooth surface-feel and strong visual appeal.
As a result, the meeting tables and coffee tables look good in any office setting.
The nel meeting table blends into any space while the coffee table is an accent piece.
Being plastic-free, it is delivered in cardboard and paper packaging.
