Normand Couture and COUTURE Jardin create the Pavilion as an addition to HUG Collection to complement the numerous seating elements of the furniture family.
The project has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

It can either be added to a larger or smaller group of pieces or be sold as a standalone.
Therefore, multiple configurations can be created, and no matter the number of pieces, HUG Pavilion can easily be reconfigured inside or outside of a layout adapting to the user’s needs.

This is truly the uniqueness of the HUG Pavilion; this limited type of product would normally sell as a standalone showpiece; the designer wanted to be fully able to integrate one or several Pavilions to a project to display an air of family, but not sacrifice the showpiece feature inherent to those statement pieces.
In the hospitality business, hotel installations, spas, events, and more which the designer was aiming for, customers can use HUG Pavilions as a statement to define a particular area using one or multiple units, surrounded by the «regular» seating units.
In the residential market, the Pavilion is an invitation to escape from home without leaving it!
Put simply, HUG Pavilion is an anchor to create infinite seating areas.
